Rally Eye Candy Submission Details
Wednesday’s are ‘Rally Eye Candy’ Day. It is an opportunity for our readers to share their photos and videos related to RallyCross, Road Rally, cool rally cars, your rally car, cool rally roads and/or scenery seen while rallying.
Rally Eye Candy Submission Guidelines
- Must be related to Road Rally or RallyCross (SCCA style). It can be other types of rally, if it is exceptionally cool.
- Nothing overly vulgar (PG-13)
- If you didn’t shoot the photo or video
- Make a diligent effort to get the owner’s permission to use the photo or video
- Credit the owner and provide a link to their website (if available)
- Don’t alter their work in any way, including removing their watermarks
- I have found most people don’t mind (non-profit, which is what this is) use of their works, if you give them credit and a bit of promotion. If an owner does object, the work will be removed immediately.
- We reserve the right not to publish a photo or video
- We are using the photo or video only for use on “Rally Eye Candy”. We will request permission for any other uses. Owner retains copyright.
- Number of photos and videos published will depend on number of submissions.
- Photo guidelines
- At least 600 pixel wide at 72 ppi (pixels per inch) or 96 ppi
- .jpg are preferrable, but we can convert other formats
- Please only email 1 photo, but you can send us a link to the full gallery that we’ll publish
- Videos
- Email link to hosted video, for example the YouTube link. (DO NOT email me the video file)
- Brief videos will get better views. People don’t like to see full feature films here. If you have a longer length video, maybe consider posting the highlights or a teaser video and a link to the full length video.
